Wonder Takes a Gamble on Robots, Drones and AI-Generated Menus

Wonder — $650M Series D, reported Aug. 8. Marc Lore’s Wonder raised $650 million at a $9 billion valuation. While not a pure autonomy company, its strategy increasingly relies on kitchen robotics, AI-driven operations and Zipline drone delivery. 
PE/VC relevance: This is a useful example of autonomous technology becoming an operating-efficiency layer inside a larger consumer platform, rather than being sold as the end product itself.
