U.S. Navy and MARTAC demonstrate autonomous at-sea refueling

MARTAC and the Navy successfully demonstrated an autonomous replenishment-at-sea system that captured, refueled and released a Devil Ray T38 unmanned surface vessel while underway. This is particularly important because refueling has been one of the major limitations on persistent USV operations; solving it could allow autonomous vessels to remain deployed for far longer periods without returning to port.
