U.S. Air Force awards AI/ML airborne electronic-warfare contract

Pacific Defense and Perceptronics Solutions received an AFLCMC SBIR Phase III contract to mature AI/ML-enabled airborne RF situational-awareness and electronic-warfare technology. The system combines AI/ML with SOSA-aligned EW hardware to identify and react to electromagnetic threats at machine speed rather than human decision speed—highly relevant to autonomous aircraft, CCA and distributed combat aviation architectures.
