Thales Alenia Space’s Argonaut Lander

The European Space Agency (ESA) has awarded Thales Alenia Space an €862 million contract to develop the Argonaut lunar lander, Europe’s first cargo vehicle designed for Moon missions. Scheduled for its inaugural mission in 2031, Argonaut aims to transport 1.5 metric tonnes of cargo to support lunar exploration and the development of a lunar economy.
