Space Force awards $52.5 M deorbiting contract

The US Space Force has just awarded a $52.5 million contract to Starfish Space to provide autonomous satellite deorbiting services for its Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) constellation, marking a shift toward sustainable, resilient space operations and lifecycle management in orbit. The first Otter mission is scheduled for launch in 2027.
