Southern Lightning Exercise

Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, in collaboration with Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane and U.S. Fleet Forces Command, conducted the “Southern Lightning” exercise off the coast of Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina. This week-long event focused on testing communications and autonomy in unmanned systems, advancing the Navy’s unmanned mission capabilities.
