Saronic Technologies has acquired Gulf Craft, a Louisiana-based shipbuilder, to serve as a prototyping and production hub for its medium unmanned surface vessel (MUSV) fleet. The facility will support the development of the 150-foot-long Marauder, Saronic’s largest autonomous surface vessel to date. The company plans to invest $250 million to upgrade the shipyard and expedite development with private funding.
