Leonardo Launches Space Inspection Startup Projects

Through its “Solvers Wanted” initiative, Leonardo selected two startups to develop advanced technologies for autonomous space inspection, servicing, debris removal, and infrastructure construction.

  • Adaptronics is building an electro-adhesive gripping system suited for microgravity and vacuum.
  • Fluid Wire Robotics is developing a novel robotic arm architecture that separates motors/sensors from the limb for robustness.
