China has introduced the RT-G autonomous spherical robots, designed to assist or replace human officers in hazardous situations. These AI-powered robots can patrol diverse terrains, including land and water, and are equipped with non-lethal tools like net-launching cannons and tear gas sprayers. They utilize facial recognition to identify and pursue suspects at speeds up to 22 mph.
