J.P. Morgan Eyes $10 B Investment Push into Defense & Resilience Firms

The firm reportedly plans to invest up to $10 billion in both legacy defense contractors and startups under a new “Security and Resilience Initiative,” with emphasis on areas such as nuclear-submarine capabilities.

For investors, this signals large-scale institutional capital (not just traditional VCs) entering defense-related opportunities — potentially increasing competition but also validating defense-tech as an investable asset class.
