Hyundai and Avride’s Robotaxi Collaboration

Hyundai has partnered with Avride, a Texas-based self-driving technology startup, to develop a fleet of robotaxis. This collaboration will see 100 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SUVs, equipped with Avride’s autonomous technology, deployed within the year. The vehicles will be assembled at Hyundai’s new factory in Georgia and initially operate in Dallas as part of a deal with Uber.
