Hadrian raises $1.37B Series D at nearly $8B to scale US defence factories

Hadrian — $1.37B Series D, Aug. 6. Hadrian raised $1.37 billion at a valuation just under $8 billion to expand its AI-, automation-, and robotics-enabled defense manufacturing footprint. JPMorgan Chase’s Strategic Investment Group was a co-lead investor. The company serves customers including Lockheed Martin, RTX and Anduril.
PE/VC relevance: This is one of the clearest signals that capital is flowing not only into autonomous platforms, but also into the industrial base required to manufacture them at scale. The thesis is effectively defense reindustrialization + software-defined factories + robotics.
