Firestorm & Orqa Launch “Squall” FPV Drone for Warfighter Dominance

Firestorm and Orqa have teamed up to co-develop the Firestorm Squall, a Group 1 FPV drone that combines Firestorm’s advanced manufacturing and 3D printing capabilities with Orqa’s battle-proven, NDAA-compliant drone technology to better serve U.S. defense needs. This collaboration has helped Firestorm secure an invitation to the Pentagon’s first Drone Dominance Program Gauntlet, where it will compete for potential contracts to produce over 30,000 drones. By blending rapid additive manufacturing with proven FPV systems, the partnership aims to accelerate field production and adaptability for frontline operators. The effort underscores growing momentum toward modular, scalable autonomous platforms in defense applications.
