DoorDash continued preparing DoorDash Air, its internally developed drone-delivery service, for an expected launch later in 2026. Meanwhile, Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi argued that drones could eventually reduce some deliveries to approximately 10–15 minutes.
Potential consumer impact: Drone delivery could make small food, medicine and convenience-store orders much faster. Communities will also need to address noise, privacy, landing locations, apartment access and low-altitude traffic safety.
