Cohere and Carahsoft announced an agreement making Cohere’s secure AI models and its North agentic-AI platform available to U.S. government customers through Carahsoft’s reseller network and major contract vehicles, including NASA SEWP V and ITES-SW2.
Why it matters for autonomy: This is software autonomy rather than vehicle autonomy, but secure AI agents are increasingly relevant to defense mission planning, intelligence analysis, logistics, maintenance and command-and-control workflows.
Investor insight: Carahsoft provides Cohere with an established government procurement channel, potentially reducing one of the largest barriers facing emerging AI companies: navigating federal acquisition.
