Bonsai Robotics Secures $15 Million to Address Farm Labor Shortages

AgTech startup Bonsai Robotics has raised $15 million in Series A funding to develop autonomous machines for harvesting almonds and other tree crops. The technology uses vision-based methods to improve efficiency in orchards, aiming to reduce dependency on human labor amid tightening immigration policies. The company has conducted trials in the U.S. and Australia and plans to expand to other crops and markets. The latest funding will facilitate broader adoption and further product development.
