BAE Systems awarded DARPA contract for autonomous space tracking tech

BAE Systems’ FAST Labs won a Phase 2 DARPA contract to develop autonomous space-based surveillance and custody systems — technology that uses onboard autonomy to track many satellites or objects across orbits.
