UGV Robotics (Ukraine) developed a turret called Predator, originally for helicopters and jets, and now adapted for engaging small FPV drones.
It uses AI-powered target detection, optical sensors, and gyro stabilization. Though capable of full autonomy, human oversight remains in the loop to reduce risk of friendly-fire.
The system can be mounted on tracked vehicles or even trucks, and UGV Robotics plans to produce ~100 units/month.
Strategic insight: Counter-drone autonomy is advancing fast — this could become a scalable solution for both front-line and mobile anti-drone defense.
