Aurelius Lands Major Role in $151B MDA SHIELD Defense Program

Aurelius Systems has been selected as an awardee under the massive $151 billion Missile Defense Agency (MDA) SHIELD indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, positioning the company to support development and delivery of its Archimedes laser weapon system. The Archimedes system, proven in recent field tests with the U.S. Army’s 25th Infantry Division, is designed to detect, track, and engage drones and other aerial threats. This contract inclusion not only expands Aurelius’s role within a long-term critical defense program but also signals growing momentum for directed energy solutions in modern layered air and missile defense.
