Anthropic, an AI startup founded by former OpenAI employees, secured $3.5 billion in a recent funding round, elevating its valuation to $61.5 billion. Led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Cisco Investments and D1 Capital Partners, the funds aim to support the development of new AI models and international expansion.
