Anduril and Palantir have been selected to help develop the core software architecture for the Pentagon’s $185 billion “Golden Dome” missile defense initiative, a next-generation system designed to counter ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic threats.
The companies will focus on building a command-and-control platform that integrates data from distributed sensors and enables real-time coordination of defensive systems across domains.
This award underscores a major shift toward software-defined, AI-enabled defense infrastructure, where autonomy and data fusion are central to mission execution.
