Anduril Industries’ Expansion in Ohio

U.S. defense contractor Anduril Industries is set to construct a 5 million-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility named “Arsenal 1” near Rickenbacker International Airport in central Ohio. This project is expected to create 4,000 jobs and will focus on producing military drones and autonomous air vehicles, with production slated to begin in July 2026. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine highlighted this as the state’s largest job creation and payroll project, emphasizing Ohio’s rich aerospace history.
