Anduril & Dirac: AI Powering Faster Defense Manufacturing

Anduril Industries has partnered with AI manufacturing software developer Dirac under a multi-year agreement to use Dirac’s BuildOS platform to generate AI-driven work instructions across its production facilities. This collaboration has dramatically reduced the time required to author manufacturing instructions — shrinking a once 12-hour process to just about 90 minutes — which allows engineering changes to propagate through the factory floor far more quickly and reliably. By automating and synchronizing design to production workflows, Anduril can scale manufacturing of its autonomous systems faster without increasing headcount. The move positions Dirac’s model-based, context-aware production tools as core infrastructure supporting Anduril’s rapid iteration and defense tech growth.
