Agility Robotics’ $2.5B public listing continues to dominate robotics investing

The biggest topic among robotics investors today is still Agility Robotics’ planned $2.5 billion SPAC merger.

Why investors are paying attention:

  • First U.S. humanoid robotics company to go public.
  • More than $600 million expected in gross proceeds.
  • Existing investors include Amazon, Nvidia, SoftBank, and Foxconn.
  • Commercial customers already include Amazon, Toyota, GXO, and Schaeffler.
  • Funds will be used to rapidly scale production of its Digit humanoid robots.

Investor significance: Public-market investors will soon have another pure-play robotics company to benchmark against firms like Serve Robotics, Symbotic, Figure AI (private), and Apptronik (private).
