Sector: Autonomous cargo aircraft / Defense logistics / eVTOL
Danish startup Acodyne announced a €2.5 million pre-seed round to develop autonomous heavy-lift cargo aircraft designed for:
- Defense resupply
- Offshore logistics
- Regional cargo transportation
- Remote operations
The aircraft is designed to transport 100–500 kg payloads autonomously at speeds up to 450 km/h. Investors include Gungnir Capital, PSV Hafnium, EIFO, SAP9 Group, and GreenUP IV Invest.
Why it matters: This reflects growing investor interest in dual-use autonomous logistics aircraft serving both commercial and military markets.
